As part of our move last year—driven by a desire to simplify life and create a smaller footprint—Vicki and I relocated to our family’s ranch about 2½ hours from Fort Worth. What we didn’t expect was just how incredible this new chapter would be.
Now, as an unexpected blessing, we look out our kitchen window and see wildlife most people only encounter on safari—kudu, gemsbok, sable, addax… and more.
It still takes our breath away.
