Happy International Men's Day!

There are three core aims of International Men's Day:
- To make a positive difference to the wellbeing and lives of men and boys
- To raise awareness and/or funds for charities supporting men and boys’ wellbeing
- To promote a positive conversation about men, manhood and masculinity

Happy Diwali!

Did you know around 1 billion people celebrate Diwali? This important religious festival falls on Monday 24th October this year, which is the 15th day of the month of Kartik in the Hindu calendar.

The word Diwali (or Deepavali as it’s sometimes called) means “row of lights” in an ancient language of India, called Sanskrit. Although it is a Hindu festival, its moral is quite universal as it celebrates the victory of good over evil / light over darkness. The celebration lasts for 5 days.

A delegation of senior officials from the Government of Karnataka, India’s largest and fastest growing State for the Aerospace Industry, visited the UK last week. Incora were one of the few companies selected for face to face meetings with the delegation in London, which included Dr Murugesh Nirani, Minister for Large & Medium Industries; Dr EV Ramana Reddy, Additional Chief Secretary to Government and Gunjan Krishna, Commissioner for Industrial Development.

Topics included Incora’s growth plans in India, the opening of the new warehouse (which is on the Aerospace Park developed by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board) and how Incora can work with the Government of Karnataka to further develop the aerospace supplier base that Incora manages in the state. Incora also received an invitation to “Invest Karnataka 2022”, a 3 day forum in November for existing and potential investors in the state.

Mark Ness, Commercial Director said: “This was an excellent opportunity to deal directly with the state policy makers who have helped develop the aerospace market in the state and discuss how Incora can work collaboratively with them in the future”

Thank you to everyone who came to see us at our stand at MRO Asia Pacific last week.

Paul Watering, Sales Director, APAC said "It was fantastic to be back at the Singapore MRO Show, finally getting to see our customers, (new and old) face to face after two years of video calls. The attendance was far better than we could have hoped for and the buzz of excitement was clear to see. Looking forward to seeing what Incora can do in 2023, the recovery is clearly going to be faster than expected for the aerospace industry."

Incora India hosted a networking dinner for members of the US Aerospace Trade Mission to India last week. A total of 15 US-based companies were on a trip organised by the US Commercial Service to demonstrate the current position and future opportunities offered by the exciting Indian aerospace market.

Incora hosted the networking dinner at the Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad with 85 attendees composed of the Trade Mission companies and a mix of guests invited by both the US Commercial Service and Incora.

Mark Ness, Commercial Director said: “It was a great evening where aerospace professionals with complimentary requirements discussed the aerospace market in India. It was a pleasure to host such an event and to be able to discuss Incora in India and our new Bangalore warehouse opening early next year”
