Wow, I did it! I’m living proof that you’re never too old to finish what you started.

I dropped out after the 9th grade, went back to school, and earned my GED. I’ll be 40 this year, and one thing I know for sure is that you’re never too old to go back to school.

No matter what obstacles came my way, I kept moving forward. It didn’t matter how long it took or who was there or wasn’t there—I refused to quit.

I’m not finished. I’m just getting started.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. We did it! 🎓💜

Breaking the Cycle: Why You're Afraid to Pursue Your Dreams
I talk about how many people don't move forward because they've never seen it done in their family and lack the confidence or credentials to try. I share my personal journey of pursuing my passion for helping people, going back to get my GED despite feeling behind, and how changing the language I spoke over myself opened doors. I encourage viewers to stop using negative self-talk, stop worrying about what others are doing, and pursue their dreams even if they'd be the first in their family to do it.

The Power of Your Words: Stop Limiting Yourself
I discuss how the words you speak over yourself can either propel you forward or hold you back from achieving your goals. I also explore how negative self-talk, whether from your own voice or words spoken over you as a child, can prevent you from pursuing your dreams like going back to school, writing a book, starting a business, or applying for your dream job. I encourage you to examine what you're saying to yourself, challenge limiting beliefs, and shift your language to focus on what you CAN do rather than what you can't.

Breaking Free from Survival Mode and Autopilot: Learning to Rest and Trust
I share my personal journey through survival mode and autopilot after my divorce, when I had to start completely over without finances, furniture, or steady income. I talk about how I learned to trust God, accept help from organizations and loved ones, and eventually break the cycle of constant grinding. I encourage you to recognize if you're stuck in survival mode or autopilot, and remind you that it's okay to pause, rest, and trust that you'll be provided for.

Finding Balance: Parenting with Respect, Not Fear
I talk about my experience as a millennial parent and how I'm breaking the cycle of strict parenting I experienced growing up. I discuss the importance of finding balance between discipline and nurturing, avoiding trauma bombing our children by trying to be their friends instead of parents, and allowing our kids to have a voice and express themselves while still maintaining respect and boundaries. I share how my structured father taught me discipline but also how the lack of voice I had growing up affected my confidence, and how I'm intentionally parenting differently to help my children develop decision-making skills and self-trust.

My daughter used to be afraid of dogs… now she wants to be a veterinarian. 🥹
This is the same little girl who was once scared of everything, and now watching her love for animals grow is such a beautiful thing to see.

It reminds me that growth doesn’t happen overnight—and fear doesn’t get the final say. What once made you uncomfortable can turn into something you love.

I’m so proud of her for pushing past her fears and becoming more confident every day. 💜

Don’t let where you started define where you’re going. Sometimes the very thing you fear today is connected to who you’re becoming tomorrow. Keep growing, keep trying, and keep moving forward

Don't Be Afraid of Hard Work: Change Your Language and Keep Going
I talk about overcoming self-doubt and the fear of trying new things by changing the language we speak over ourselves. I share personal experiences about shutting down when frustrated, taking breaks, and coming back stronger. I emphasize that anything worth doing will be challenging at first, but consistency pays off—whether it's working out, going back to school, or starting a business. I discuss the importance of asking for help, utilizing available resources like tutoring, and using modified approaches when needed. I also reflect on my weight loss surgery decision and how avoiding hard work led to regret, stressing that there's no easy path to success. The key message: don't be afraid of hard work, keep showing up, and believe in yourself.

Doors have opened for me because I chose to move forward.
Even when I wasn’t certain, I moved through fear.

When people didn’t believe in me and others walked away, it felt lonely—but I still believed in myself.
I took a chance on me.

I’ve gotten things wrong along the way, but I never gave up.
This journey didn’t start today—it started five years ago, and I’m still growing.

I trust God, I believe, and I’m going to keep moving forward. 💜
