We are looking for our next team member!

Quindigo Management supports the work of ULI Dallas Fort Worth.

We are looking for a new contractor to join our team and work with this client to help them carry out events, fundraising, and programming.

The Senior-Level leader position will be responsible for providing staff support, committee management, and event planning for the Tarrant County Executive Committee, Tarrant County Programs Committee, Tarrant County Membership Committee, Tarrant County Placemaking Initiative Taskforce, the Dallas & Tarrant County Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI) Committees, and the Dallas & Tarrant County NEXT Committees. Additionally, this position will be responsible for providing backup support to ULI DFW Staff for their Local Product Councils and other major events. This position will be paid a total of $30,000 - $35,000 for a contract from August 2021 – June 2022 to be paid in monthly installments with the possibility of renewal.

The ideal candidate will join the Quindigo Team and:
+ Have an interest in urban land use planning, commercial real estate, and/or urban design.
+ Have skills in event management, fundraising, committee management and/or board development.
+ Have strong communication skills, including clear and concise written messaging
+ Enjoy working from home & have the ability to travel throughout the metroplex.
+ Meet the scope of the contract including the creation of quarterly goals and key performance indicator tracking mechanisms
+ Attend Quindigo staff meetings twice per month
+ Kick in support for Quindigo work if needed by another team member
+ Demonstrate initiative, exemplify trustworthiness and be a self-starter
+ Provide top-level customer service to clients and organization members
+ Be able to work flexible hours, including occasional late afternoon/early evening events
+ Enjoy working as a contractor & have the ability to juggle multiple groups

Additionally, this position will be responsible for providing backup support to ULI DFW Staff for other major events. This position will be paid a total of $24,000 for a contract from July 2021 – June 2022 to be paid in monthly installments with possibility of renewal.

Meet Quindigo team member Dee Lara O'Neal and her two feline co-workers. Dee serves as the Executive Director for our client the Design-Build Institute of America Southwest Region. An established local artist, she has previously served as Executive Director of Fort Worth arts nonprofit Art Tooth, and she has a longstanding history of collaborating with some of North Texas' most esteemed cultural institutions.

Dee brings enthusiasm, an eye for good design and creative problem solving skills to every project, and we're so glad to have her as part of the Quindigo team! A Texas native, she lives in Fort Worth with her engineer husband, their young son and Copernicus and Jerry Lee (pictured here).
