Reality: compliance isn't a one-and-done audit.

Requirements change, and even the ones that stay the same require ongoing monitoring to prove you're still meeting them. Policies need to be revisited, employees need refresher training, and documentation has to stay current — because if an audit or incident happens, "we did this once" won't hold up.

Being secure and being compliant are two different things — and most IT providers only cover the security side. If your IT provider has never had that conversation with you, it might be time to have it with us.
