Hi folks!!
Been quite a hiatus from the workbench the last couple of years as I've been chasing a lifelong dream. I've spent the better part of the last two years flight instructing while also still holding down a full time job with the model shop at Lockheed. I left Lockheed at the end of May after accepting a job offer as a charter pilot and have now dove headfirst into the next chapter!
I have certainly missed my time with bringing these fascinating machines to life in small-scale and was definitely sad to leave such a wonderful career that brought me full circle with my passion for scale models and provided amazing opportunities to see the world.
However, life is short and if there's an opportunity to realize your dreams - seize those moments. I still venture to think I'll crack a box open again someday soon as the dust settles on the career transition. Until then, I hope everyone is well and is out there chasing their goals and ambitions as well!
