Success Means Nothing Without Health
Hey y’all. I just got my latest Function Health results back and honestly… this journey feels personal.
Most people know me as the entrepreneur, professor, business coach, self-made millionaire, award winner, community leader…
But behind all of that, my health was quietly falling apart.
In my 20s, I was trying to survive.
In my 30s, I was busy raising kids, building a career, paying off debts, and taking care of everyone else.
Like many immigrant women, I kept telling myself:
“I’ll focus on my health later.”
Then in my early 40s, I got diagnosed with prediabetes, osteopenia, and degenerative disc disease.
That was my wake-up call.
Because I realized something nobody really talks about:
you don’t have to be dying to feel miserable.
You can look successful on paper and still feel exhausted, inflamed, stressed, and disconnected from your own body.
So over the past few years, I started investing in my health the same way I invested in my business:
more intention
more discipline
more consistency
Not to become some extreme biohacker.
I just want to feel strong, healthy, and present for the people I love.
Today, my biological age is almost 17 years younger than my real age.
And honestly?
That means more to me now than another award or financial milestone ever could.
I know many of you are still in your 20s or 30s, and wellness may not feel important yet. Believe me, I understand.
But if there’s one thing I’ve learned:
the earlier you invest in your health, the greater the return later in life.
These days, my biggest goal is simple — stay healthy enough to travel the world, enjoy life, and hopefully meet many of you along the way.
