Last week, we celebrated our 2026 Meta Data Center Community Action Grant recipients. It was a joy to bring together this yearโs grant recipients, community partners, Meta team members, and local leaders!
Through our Data Center Community Action Grants program, Meta provides funding for nonprofits and schools โ addressing critical community needs by putting technology to use for community benefit, enabling people to build strong, sustainable communities, improving local STEAM education โ to support the long-term vitality of Tarrant County. Learn more on this yearโs projects:
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tarrant County: To launch immersive workshops in artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and coding that empower youth through high-tech mentorship and collaborative innovation.
Fort Worth Botanic Garden: To equip a new outdoor learning space with innovative maker technology, including laser cutters and digital microscopes, to spark hands-on environmental STEAM exploration.
Building Pathways, Inc.: To create a clear bridge to economic mobility by equipping high school students with foundational trade skills, safety certifications and digital career portfolios.
Fort Worth STEAM Academy: To implement an AI-powered adaptive learning model using 1:1 mobile devices to provide individualized, data-driven instruction in math and literacy for all students.
Tarrant To & Through Partnership: To power an AI-driven Personalized Student Journey Builder that uses predictive analytics and real-world data to help North Texas students navigate high-wage career pathways.
Texas Health Resources Foundation: To establish a vocational learning garden that serves as a living laboratory for horticulture, culinary arts and community-based nutritional education.
The YouthVantage Alliance: To expand high-impact STEM pathways for boys and girls through mobile makerspace kits, robotics labs and mentorship focused on real-world problem-solving.
