Ever notice ants swarming your crepe myrtle trees? 🐜🌳
Here’s why: aphids feed on the tree bark and secrete a sweet "honeydew" sap that ants love. The ants will actually protect the aphids just to keep feeding on that honeydew!
To clear them out, we apply ant gel bait off their main trail. The worker ants gather the bait, share it with the rest of the colony, and eliminate the nest at the root.
