Years ago, I shared a vision I had with my friends about what I think we ought to do. I remember most of them thinking I was crazy. By "my friends," I mean all two of them. Recently, I shared my business plans with a couple of my good friends and colleagues and they quickly asked how they could support or be of assistance. The vote of confidence was overwhelming, refreshing and definitely welcomed!

Today, I came across this quote by Steve Jobs and it made me laugh: "The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do." Not only did it resonate with me, but it made me realize my friends are crazy!

✨Today I thought I would share a bit about myself✨

I never really enjoyed talking about myself in terms of accomplishments. Which is why I don’t post or celebrate my wins even though I encourage others to do so!

I am a mental health and wellness advocate who believes that sharing our stories enables us to connect. That the trials that we have experienced that led to our victories could save someone’s life❤️.

When we share, we express vulnerability and start showing empathy. While part of my job as a digital marketer is to manage social media for clients, I despised getting on it myself. I believed it went against everything I stood for.

On this new business venture, I have learned to embrace my platform and use it as an opportunity to connect and share stories with as many people as I can. Together we can shape the future and change the world.

So, last but not least I am also celebrating a win and an accomplishment. First is that I do have a semi complete iMDb and second is that I have had the pleasure to participate in a movie that expresses the importance of mental wellness!

I have always connected with people naturally and have always enjoyed empowering them through relatability and story sharing. I have spoken on topics such as: marriage, fertility, miscarriage, mental health and even domestic violence.

I find passion in speaking, educating and empathizing with others. Sharing what we sometimes consider "shameful" situations are actually stories that unify us and bring us closer together.

Speaking and connecting with others has been a big part of my life and I never thought of how I would use those areas of discussion in my profession as a digital marketer. 💖

It wasn't until I began visualizing and writing down what my dream life would like, that I was able to connect the dots 💡. Being able to see exactly what I desire for myself, my life, my family and business enabled me to create a strategy, a service and attainable action steps to get through.

✨I am still amazed at how this works out and how easy it really is.

✨Sure life changes and so do ideals, but knowing and believing you have the tools to adapt to whatever comes your way is empowering!
