02:16 this morning, Englewood RIT was dispatched to 38 Williams Street, Ryan Township, on a working structure fire. Upon arriving on scene, the crew set up primary RIT on the A side of the incident.

During the incident District 26 was paged for an accident with entrapment on I81, pulling resources from the fire scene. At this point the Englewood crew was tasked with some overhaul duties before being released from the scene.

12:50 Englewood Fire was dispatched as part of the District 36 box, for a garage fire to the rear of 240 S Wylam St, W Mahanoy Twp.

Engine 4-19 arrived and crew went to work with 36-18’s crew on suppression. The crew also assisted with overhaul before being cleared by incident command.

4-19 and 4-69 were on scene about 1/2 hr.

We’ll be closing up shop at 7pm today.

Tomorrow the kitchen will reopen at 12pm and the Shenandoah Polka All Star Band will hit the main stage at 2pm. Plenty of cold beverages and great food choices to be had.
