Recently, I was coaching a client and brought up the term 'weasel words' to describe an ineffective leadership behavior. I thought I had originated this term years ago when thinking of a specific offender but I just learned from https://themagnet.substack.com/p/the-magnet-0001 that the term can be found on Wikipedia. Whatever the source, weasel words will weaken your message and your leadership presence.

I started listening to this book on Audible but the narrator's voice is quite irritating so now I'm reading the hard copy (on load from my Dad) which I had intended to buy anyway because the content was so good. The book starts with a game changing strategy for the oil industry that came about from using the problem solving principles discussed in this book. Great book I stumbled across early this year that provides a process for thinking about your client's business model and structuring an inquiry process around how well the model fits the business today. I'm hoping to use the approach with a challenging new consulting assignment in an industry that may need to radically reshape their business model to meet a changed consumer and economic climate.
