On today’s episode of this old tractor. We got this old 28 D in the air. And we fought with one of the really old tires. We also found a bad wheel bearing who woulda thunk it.
So now we get to pull an axle apart not today though. We also tested out our new jack works great.

So apparently the price of almost 100 year old is not going down. Now you have to buy the vines that come with them.
Say hello to our new D candidate this one here is a 1928 and is in better shape than the 30. So with that said we have fixed a problem but got a couple.
Problem number 1 is our goal to have it running before it turned 100 we just shot 2 years off that.
Problem number 2 I can’t turn this thing
Problem number 3 I might have a small gas leak.
Our transmission is loose and shifts into all gears and there’s more moving parts on this one that the 30 didn’t have.

Been working on getting these sleeves out this week. Finally all 4 are out of our donor block. Had so struggles broke our puller on the number one. Shannon help make a new puller and Nick helped hold everything as I kept dropping it on the floor today.
I guess we need to order parts so when I get the good liners out we can put it back together

Got the passenger door on the truck. That was fun I don’t recommend doing that by your lonesome. I still need to adjust it correctly. Also got the power steering and alternator belts on there and tightened down. Baby steps is better than no steps I guess.
