Matt Wilson is a retired MSG with over 26 years in the special operations community. He started his military career with the 75th Ranger Regiment, serving in 1st and 2nd Ranger Battalion. Matt then tried out for Special Forces Assessment and Selection, got selected and was assigned to 7th Special Forces Group (A). After finishing up his Team Sergeant time, Matt tried out for 1st SFOD-Delta support where he became a Heavy Breacher and was one of two personnel that stood up the Methods of Entry cell. Matt retired in 2015 and continued training the SOF community in niche skills such as clandestine methods of entry and exothermic breaching. He resides in Franklin, Tennessee and continues to train and mentor the next generation of warriors.
