Our warehouse team making it look easy, but trust us, this is hard work. 💪

Loading 24 containers of old TVs into our massive box truck for recycling. That's almost 15 tons of TVs that will NOT end up in a landfill, all thanks to our Middle Tennessee community for choosing to recycle with us ♻️

One of the best parts about working at City eWaste is all the fun vintage electronics we come across on a day-to-day basis at HQ. Spot any that brought you back to simpler times? 🥹

Vintage electronics are something we hold dear and refuse to destroy unless they are unrepairable. We try to rehome these retro items to collectors who will love and give them a second life. If you have a garage or attic full of vintage computers, radios or audio/video equipment, we’d be happy to come clear them out at no cost.

Today we bid farewell to Cole, our legendary Head of Technology, an absolute machine of a human, and one of the sharpest minds we've had the privilege of working with.

Over the past years, Cole built the technical backbone of City eWaste, shipping 20+ proprietary projects that touch nearly every part of how we operate, from the warehouse floor to the way we sell. The systems he created will keep powering us forward as we franchise and grow.

We're grateful for you, we celebrate you, and we’re always cheering you on, brother!

Congrats to our May 2026 Employee of the Month!

Jacob, our Warehouse Lead, is pouring everything into his work daily as he oversees all of our warehouse operations. His hard work is a big part of what keeps City eWaste moving and we are grateful for him!

Filling up our gold corner BGA bin for our refiner! Guess how much this full 11lb bin is worth… 🤔

It takes us a couple months of collecting computer circuit boards and saving gold corner BGA chips to fill up this bin.

Precious metals refining is the last step in our recycling process. After secure data destruction, we try to give our electronics a second life, but when reuse is not possible, recycling and refining comes next!

You won’t believe what these things are worth!

Gold fingers, the gold plated connectors we trim from the edge of RAM sticks, yield some of the best quality and quantity of eWaste . Some of them are double sided, and we try to only take the vintage stuff ‘cause of the dull gold!

Plot twist: this one's not getting recycled. 🕹️

A retro arcade machine rolled into the warehouse and our team called a unanimous vote to keep it. 🤭

Our Purpose Is Repurpose, 👾 sometimes that means a second life challenging in a new break room high-score champion. 😇

Soddy-Daisy residents, you SHOWED UP! 🙌

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 3rd annual Soddy-Daisy Community Recycling event. In just one day, we collected over 6,000 pounds of eWaste, including:

📺 TVs (~2,000 lbs!)
💻 Old computers and laptops
🔊 Speakers
🏠 Household electronics
🖨️ Printers
📱 Phones
⌨️ Old computer accessories

That's over 3 tons of electronic waste saved from our local landfills, twice what we collected in 2025! 🌎♻️

Huge thanks to Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful for bringing together local recyclers and residents to keep our community clean. See y'all next year! 💚
