PSI is awarded US PATENT No: US 10,637,264 B2 for award winning LI-36 modular and stackable UPS System

Franklin, Kentucky, April 28, 2020 – PSI has been awarded patent number US 10,637,264 B2 for the LI-36 modular and stackable power and battery device that has been used extensively to back up essential access products in homes and businesses for the last several years.

PSI is a seven year old company based in Franklin, Kentucky and has already been recognized by the global design community as an industry leader. PSI designs and manufactures power and backup power products with an emphasis on keeping telecom industry service products operating during emergency power outages.

The PSI LI-36 patent # US 10,637,264 B2 is designed as the world’s first scalable capacity Vdc UPS in order to supply continuous commercial and standby power to 12VDC Customer Premise Equipment (CPE). The LI-36 Micro UPS is rated for use with all CPE devices 12VDC 36 Watts (3 Amps) or less and offers PSI Patented Stackable Battery technology to offer more than 24 hours of backup, with up to 3 attachable battery packs.

The LI-36 Micro UPS can be used to power devices throughout the home or small business and support one or multiple optical network terminals (ONT), optical network units (ONU), access points, wireless modems, routers, and embedded multimedia terminal adapters (eMTA). Providing hours of scalable battery backup during electrical outages, the Li-36 Micro UPS also offers an integrated Battery Management System (BMS), L-Ion Technology, PoE audible and visual alarming, user replaceable battery pack, remote signal alarming (telemetry), and 5 year warranty. The modular series includes power supplies up to 150W.
