Just wanted to leave a note to clear up any confusion. The reason I have a 617 area code isn't because you're calling a call call center in Boston. It's my personal cell number that I've had since I lived in Quincy about 15 years ago. So when you call at 5am, 11pm etc you're not getting a machine at a closed office building, you're calling the owner directly in his cell phone, and if its during the daytime I'm probably in a basement or bad service area, so please just Text me whenever possible. Thank you.

The Samsung model WA55A7300AE is part of a major recall of about 663,000 top-load washers due to a severe fire hazard.

The control panels can short-circuit and overheat, causing smoking, melting, or fires. You should immediately update the machine's software or stop using it entirely.

If your washer is connected to Wi-Fi:

It will download the free software repair automatically when connected to the internet.

If your washer is not Wi-Fi capable:

Immediately stop using the machine and contact Samsung for a free dongle to plug in and download the software repair.

If you put a rubber backed floor mat such as a bathroom rug in your washer you might as well be washing a cinder block. Just throw it out if theres dog p*e on it. Not worth destroying your washer.
