IEEPA tariffs were struck down. Section 122 tariffs were struck down. Now the Trump Administration is turning to Section 301. The USTR has proposed new tariffs on imports from 60 economies over alleged failures to combat forced labor.

On June 2, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) announced plans to impose new Section 301 tariffs on imports from 60 economies that it says have failed to adequately prohibit or enforce restrictions on goods produced with forced labor.

The more surprising development comes in the companion 337-TA-1451 investigation, where an outside commenter submitted a detailed analysis of Mountain Peak, Billiontree, supplier networks, and UFLPA-related concerns in support of a GEO.
