🐝🔨 Just another demo day… with a few unexpected guests!
One thing about remodeling: you never really know what you’re going to find once you start opening up walls. This bathroom demo revealed a yellow jacket nest hiding where we definitely didn’t expect it.
Thankfully, these homeowners just happened to have bee suits on hand. Because apparently “Do you happen to own a bee suit?” is now a perfectly reasonable contractor question. 😂
It’s moments like these that remind us why we love what we do. Remodeling isn’t always predictable. Sometimes it means uncovering old repairs, solving problems as you go, adapting to the unexpected — and occasionally suiting up for battle with yellow jackets.
We’re also incredibly grateful for the homeowners who trust us with their spaces and for a community that continues to support local tradesmen. Stepping into a bigger project, while also getting the opportunity to build a shop with my father-in-law has been equal parts exciting, stressful, and rewarding. Trying to split my focus between the current job and preparing a permanent workspace hasn’t been easy — but it’s all part of building something bigger for the future.

The goal isn’t just to get through the current project. It’s to create a space and foundation that helps future jobs run smoother, more efficiently, and with even better quality.

Growth can feel overwhelming when everything seems to happen at once, but sometimes that’s how you know you’re moving forward. I’m incredibly grateful for clients who are understanding through the process and for a family that continues to support me while I build not just projects, but a future. 🛠️🏡
