Recently was doing inspection on a home and run across termite damage. As I continued my inspection I found a wall with minor damage to the Sheetrock on the wall. As I opened it up was amazed at what we had found. This is a formosan termite carton nest. To my surprise the customer had the spray in insulation and the termites not only built a nest but consumed a 5x5 area to build the nest. This is something I had never seen but figured I’d share. So if your house has spray foam be aware formosan termites love it. We offer free inspections give us a call we will be glad to come out and we also offer termite protection plans with pest control also.
