Wing Commander Carlos, our resident roo, takes protection of his flock very seriously. He’s trained his beloved hens to retreat when danger is near. He will confront a perceived threat with confidence and poise. He will fight with his life if necessary. If you aren’t ready to handle a threat to yourself or your family - we’re here to help you learn! Mother hens, I’m talking to you too!

Our team customizes intensive self-defense and personal protection training programs to align with our clients’ individual needs, desires, skill level, and physical ability. This includes firearm safety education & training, situational awareness, physical (unarmed) self-defense and much more! Our clients are welcome to visit us for an all-inclusive intensive training experience at Fort Lap. We offer hourly and daily packages to accommodate your specific needs and schedule. You’ll enjoy accomodations including a private guest suite, access to our range, gym, pool (in season) and of course - freshly made meals from Chef Chrissie’s kitchen!
