The proud heritage of the Town of Norway, dates back to 1839, when a group of 40 Norwegian immigrants settled the area because of the rich growing soil. Town of Norway was officially established and governed. Today, some 182 years later, Spirits of Norway Vineyard continues to utilize the rich soil by growing winter hardy, hybrid wine grapes.
