🐾 HIDDED IN PLAIN SIGHT: How We Used Thermal Technology to Save a Lost Cat! At Select Restoration, we use state-of-the-art thermal imaging cameras every day to detect hidden water damage, mold, and electrical shorts behind your walls. But recently, we put our high-tech gear to a completely different test: finding a missing family cat. When a local family couldn't find their beloved pet, they called us for backup. Using our advanced infrared cameras, we scanned the property. Because animals emit body heat, they glow brightly on our thermal screens—even in pitch-black darkness or tucked away deep inside tight crawlspaces. Thanks to this technology, we spotted the cat's heat signature hidden safely away and reunited them with their worried family!💡 How It Works. Our thermal cameras don't see through walls, but they detect micro-changes in temperature. Whether it is a hidden moisture pocket from a leaky pipe or the warm body of a frightened pet, our tools reveal what the human eye completely misses. We are proud to use our property restoration tools to bring peace of mind to our neighbors—whether we are restoring your home after a disaster, or bringing a furry family member safely back where they belong.
