The Power of Teaching to Learn

In the pursuit of life's secrets through prayer, fasting, and seeking God's wisdom, there's a principle that transcends time: the power of teaching to fully learn. In Scripture, we see this in practice when Jesus instructed His disciples to go forth and teach others (Matthew 28:19-20). This command wasn't just about spreading knowledge—it was also about reinforcing the truths they had internalized. By teaching others, they deepened their understanding and connection to the message.

The Apostle Paul similarly emphasized this dynamic in his letter to Timothy: "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others" (2 Timothy 2:2). Here, Paul speaks to the cyclical nature of teaching as a means of growth and mastery. When we share wisdom with others, it compels us to clarify and internalize the lessons ourselves. This aligns beautifully with the teachings of Jesus, who often called His followers to serve, disciple, and teach.

Learning Through Teaching

In The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey introduces the idea that in order to fully learn something, you must teach it. This process helps deepen understanding, because when you prepare to explain something to others, you must clarify and organize your thoughts. It becomes a pathway to mastery and greater growth. Covey's habit of "Sharpen the Saw" speaks to the importance of continual learning, refining, and teaching. As you seek the secrets of God through prayer and fasting, the act of teaching these lessons to others solidifies their impact on your life.

This principle can be seen in other powerful self-help and leadership literature. Take, for instance, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, where he argues that "Faith is a state of mind." When we believe in something with enough conviction and clarity to teach it, that belief becomes part of our identity. Hill emphasizes that faith must be nurtured, taught, and shared for it to fully manifest its power. As we internalize faith and the principles of abundance, we develop the capacity to not only transform our own lives but also to help others experience breakthroughs in their own faith journeys.

The Power of Faith and Action

The principle of teaching to learn is echoed in Launching a Leadership Revolution by Chris Brady and Orrin Woodward, where they stress that leadership is not about knowing everything, but about continuous growth and mentoring others along the way. The authors suggest that we become leaders by sharing our journey and experiences with others. As a leader, every time you teach, you also grow. Sharing leadership lessons—whether from personal experience or from God's revelations through prayer and fasting—expands your understanding of your own spiritual journey.

Similarly, in The 12 Week Year by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington, the authors emphasize the power of focus and intentional action over time. Teaching this concept to others makes you more accountable to practicing what you preach. You learn the discipline of breaking down large goals into smaller, actionable steps. This mirrors the biblical concept that "faith without works is dead" (James 2:26). The more you teach others to act with intention and faith, the more these principles take root in your own life, driving you toward the breakthroughs God has in store for you.
Finding Balance in Knowledge and Experience

In The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, the focus is on living fully in the present moment and letting go of the constant striving that so often distracts us. When you teach others to embrace the present, you embody this mindset yourself. Jesus exemplified this when He encouraged His followers to "not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself" (Matthew 6:34). By sharing the peace that comes with living in the moment, you bring yourself into a greater state of alignment with God’s timing and provision.

In The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy, the concept of small, consistent actions leading to massive results is a principle that mirrors God’s call for faithfulness in the little things (Luke 16:10). Teaching this principle helps you appreciate how gradual progress leads to exponential growth. When you teach others about the compound effect of faith, discipline, and trust in God’s process, you see these principles at work in your own life.

Wealth and Financial Freedom

When discussing financial freedom, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki highlights the difference between working for money and making money work for you. Teaching others this concept reinforces your understanding of how God calls us to be wise stewards of the resources He provides (Matthew 25:14-30). The act of teaching creates accountability and ensures that we are not only hearing God's wisdom but living it.

Similarly, in How to Master the Art of Selling by Tom Hopkins, the emphasis is on mastering persuasion and communication. These skills are key in guiding people toward financial freedom, but teaching them to others strengthens your own ability to communicate God’s principles about wealth and stewardship.
The Inner Dialogue

In, What to Say When You Talk to Yourself by Shad Helmstetter, the importance of positive self-talk and affirmations is central. This concept ties directly into Scripture, where we are encouraged to "take captive every thought" (2 Corinthians 10:5). When you teach others how to reshape their internal dialogue to align with God's truth, you simultaneously transform your own thought patterns.

Conclusion: Teaching to Reveal God's Secrets

Ultimately, the act of teaching is a spiritual exercise that reflects the truth of Proverbs 11:25: "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." When we teach the secrets we’ve learned from God, we are refreshed, enriched, and brought into deeper wisdom ourselves. As you seek God’s secrets through prayer and fasting, remember that sharing what you learn multiplies your understanding. The more you teach, the more God reveals.

Just as the greatest leaders and thinkers have taught others to strengthen their own knowledge, so too does God call us to share the revelations He grants. In doing so, you align with His purpose, experiencing deeper insights and more profound transformations in your walk with Him. The journey of faith is not a solitary one; it is one where we grow by serving and guiding others.

Preparing for the Promises

· God will only give you what you’re ready for. If you want more, you’ve gotta get ready for more. You’ve gotta know who you are and believe in what you do before anyone else will. If you don’t believe in you, then why would anyone else? Why should they?

In the stillness of this morning, a profound truth settled in my heart: "God will only give you what you’re ready for." This insight, simple yet powerful, is a cornerstone of spiritual growth and personal development. It’s not merely about asking for more; it’s about preparing ourselves to be capable of receiving and managing more.

The Power of Self-Belief

One of the first steps in preparation is self-belief. If we don’t believe in ourselves, why would we expect others to? Self-belief is foundational to receiving God’s blessings. It involves recognizing your own worth, understanding your purpose, and committing to your mission with confidence. When you believe in yourself and your potential, you align with God’s vision for your life, preparing yourself to receive His gifts.

This self-belief must be genuine and deep-rooted. It’s not about superficial affirmations or empty self-talk but about a deep conviction that you are capable and worthy of the blessings God intends for you. If you struggle to believe in yourself, it’s worth examining why and addressing those underlying doubts. This may involve personal reflection, prayer, or seeking counsel to bolster your confidence.

Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

The Role of Affirmations

In my own practice, affirmations have become a crucial tool for reinforcing self-belief. Each day, I read and listen to affirmations that remind me of who I am and what I aspire to become. These affirmations serve as daily declarations of my values, goals, and identity. They help me stay focused on my mission and maintain a positive mindset.

However, I’ve come to realize that merely engaging with these affirmations is not enough. To truly integrate them into your life, it would be wise to memorize and internalize these affirmations more effectively, making them a living part of your daily existence.

Consolidating affirmations into a personal mission statement is a transformative process. Here’s how to create a mission statement that you can live by:

1. Identify Core Truths: Reflect on the affirmations that resonate most deeply with you. What fundamental truths about yourself and your purpose do they convey?

2. Simplify and Synthesize: Distill these affirmations into a brief statement that encapsulates your personal mission. Aim for clarity and brevity, ensuring that the statement is impactful and easy to remember.

3. Memorize and Meditate: Commit your mission statement to memory. Recite it daily and meditate on its meaning. Let it shape your thoughts, actions, and decisions.

4. Live Your Mission: Use this mission statement as a guide for your daily life. Let it inform your choices, inspire your actions, and reinforce your self-belief.

· Proverbs 16:3: "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans."

· Habakkuk 2:2: "Then the Lord replied: 'Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.'"

My personal Mission statement:

I owe everything I have to God, and I recognize that He is the source of my strength and purpose. Each moment, I choose to live with unwavering self-assurance, belief in myself, and powerful confidence rooted in His presence within me. I am dedicated to serving others, knowing that giving generously returns abundant blessings.

James 1:2-8 is my guiding principle, reminding me that trials and challenges are not just inevitable, but essential. I understand that problems will happen, and instead of avoiding them, I am thankful for them. They are what make me stronger and more resilient. I embrace every challenge with joy, knowing that it is an opportunity to grow in faith and perseverance.

I take full responsibility for my thoughts, actions, and life. I am the architect of my destiny, and I embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. With each obstacle, I find solutions that propel me forward. My resilience, determination, and faith in God allow me to conquer any challenge, trusting that obstacles are not in the way—they are the way.

I am a world-renowned author who people love to hear speak. I may not be an Artist, but I can paint a picture with words, so you can see what I say. I consistently and deliberately inspire, uplift, and challenge others to think deeply and live purposefully.

I am unique, strong in mind, body, and spirit, and I choose to live a life of purpose, driven by clear goals. I plan my time intentionally, focus my energy, and work diligently to reach my aspirations. Every day is a new opportunity to improve myself, and I embrace it fully, knowing I have the strength, patience, and power to achieve anything I set my mind to.

I am grateful for God's grace and mercy, which turn my goals into reality. I live my life with sincerity, generosity, and faith, continuously learning and growing through every experience. I believe that nothing is impossible, and I face each day with the confidence, enthusiasm, and commitment to fulfill my purpose of serving others and living out my dreams.

My life is a testament to the power of faith, responsibility, and determination, and I am devoted to making a positive impact on the world around me.

The Importance of Preparation

Preparation is more than just a mental exercise; it involves practical steps to align with God’s plans. If you desire more from life—more opportunities, more blessings, more growth—you must prepare yourself to handle these gifts. This preparation might include developing new skills, seeking knowledge, or enhancing your character.

Preparation also involves setting goals and working towards them with diligence. It’s about creating an environment where you are ready to receive and effectively manage the blessings that come your way. This might mean stepping out of your comfort zone, taking on new responsibilities, or making personal changes to align with your mission.

2 Timothy 2:21: "Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work."

James 1:4: "Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Facing Challenges

The path to readiness is not without its challenges. Doubts, setbacks, and obstacles can test our resolve and make the process seem daunting. It’s important to approach these challenges with faith and resilience. Trust in God’s timing and His plan for your life. Use these challenges as opportunities for growth and learning.

Remember that readiness is a journey, not a destination. It’s a continual process of growth, self-discovery, and alignment with God’s purpose. As you prepare, you will find that you become more equipped to receive and steward the blessings He has in store for you.

Romans 8:28: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

1 Corinthians 10:13: "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear."

The secret of being ready for more involves a deep understanding of who you are, a strong belief in your potential, and a commitment to living out your mission. By consolidating your affirmations into a personal mission statement and embodying this mission in your daily life, you align yourself with God’s plans and prepare yourself for the abundance He desires to give you.

Embrace this process of preparation with faith and determination. Know that as you grow in readiness, you are positioning yourself to receive and manage the blessings that God has promised. Through self-belief, practical preparation, and a commitment to your mission, you will find yourself increasingly equipped to handle the greater responsibilities and opportunities that come your way.

Prepare yourself for more, and you will discover that God’s blessings will flow abundantly, aligning perfectly with the readiness you have cultivated within yourself.

As many of you know, I’ve been on a profound journey over the past few months, one that has reshaped how I see my faith, my purpose, and the divine wisdom available to all of us. I’m excited to finally share more about what I’ve been doing, and I’m asking for your support in this project.

It all started with a simple conversation with one of my mentors. I asked him about his daily routine, and his response changed everything for me: “I ask God for a secret.” That simple idea of receiving secrets from God captured my heart, and I couldn’t let it go. I began asking more questions—why, how, when—and his answer was always the same. "Just ask." So, the very next day, I did. And I received.

Day by day, I’ve asked. Some days I get a secret, other days I don’t, but each day has been an opportunity to talk with God in a deeper, more intimate way. This journey has led to several divine appointments, moments that I believe were orchestrated specifically by God, and I’ve encouraged others to ask for their own secrets. Some have, and the revelations they’ve received are truly incredible.

Now, I want to invite you into this journey with me. I’m launching a Skool community where we can gather to share the secrets God reveals and discuss these divine insights together. I’ll also be sharing portions of my upcoming book, which has been shaped by this experience.

If you’re interested in supporting this mission—whether through the book or by joining the community—the Skool platform is free (for now!). All you need to do is create an account and dive into this sacred exploration with us.

Thank you for your love and support on this incredible journey. I hope to see you in the Skool community soon. Here’s the link to join:

Eye write to help you see what I hear.
It’s sometimes too many voices to capture at once but I’ll do my best.

I like my writing and I think that most people that read what I write like it too.
I am just scared to actually share it because I don’t know exactly what I want to say.
But I know for sure that if I don’t say anything then it will never be heard.
Or said.
Or written.

Is writing like talking?
If you write it, did you say it?
Or did you have to say it to yourself to be able to write it?
Is your brain just constantly writing and you’re just not reading?
Or is it constantly talking and you’re not listening?
Or are you listening?
Or reading?
Or writing?
Or talking?

What are you doing?
Or are you doing nothing at all?

This is what my mind does constantly and I like that I can write what I think.
My hands just sometimes hurt when I try to keep up.

Together, we are greater than we are apart. Never give up on your partner. Be there even when things get tough. Be each others rock. Encourage and love one another daily, even when you want to give up. Remember why you fell in love in the first place. Maybe it was their strength, their love, their guidance or maybe it was just bc you felt something you never have before.
