Towards the tail end of last month, NEOPATHOLOGY CORP. had the amazing privilege of being selected by the Maryland Department of Commerce as one of the State's innovative companies and contingent to the 2025 Japan Health Exhibition, showcasing the state’s cutting-edge contributions to life sciences. By helping forge international partnerships and opening new doors for growth, the state of Maryland continues to make its mark on the global stage. We at NEOPATHOLOGY CORP. are blessed to be accorded these tremendous opportunities. We are much more excited to continue our journey of innovation and building on the collaborations established. Our journey to bringing more accurate and precision diagnostics to patients globally has begun.

Leveraging Maryland's top-tier concentration of federally funded research labs, TEDCO, the state's powerhouse for tech companies, recently convened a roundtable. This event featured U.S. Senators Ben Cardin, Chris Van Hollen, and Congressman John Sarbanes (D-Md.), focusing on the pivotal $1,150,000 investment in the Federal Lab Leveraging Innovation to Products (FLLIP) Pilot Program. It was an honor for NEOPATHOLOGY CORP.. to receive an invitation and engage actively. The FLLIP Pilot Program represents a synergistic endeavor between TEDCO and our host, the Frederick Innovative Technology Center, Inc. (FITCI). With this initiative, the journey from innovation to market gains a significant impetus. Exciting times ahead!

$7 million savings over a five-year period [1][2][3]! That is some savings that can be passed on to patients, payers, stakeholders and the bottom-line. Maximizing the benefits of cloud-computing environments coupled with that of on-prem bare metal infrastructure, at NEOPATHOLOGY CORP, we already are working on it. Thanks to the community support from Microsoft Start-up Hub, Microsoft Founders Hub, Frederick Innovative Technology Company Incorporated (FITCI), Maryland Business Innovation Association (MBIA) and COTH Technologies Incorporated, the year is off to a great start.

NEOPATHOLOGY CORP made the list of selected Maryland companies from a pool of others that applied to TEDCO (Maryland Technology Development Corporation), to participate in its 2024 Small Business Association (SBA) Federal and State Technology Partnership Program (FAST) SBIR/STTR Proposal Lab.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!

The holidays are upon us, which means, for many, it is a time to relax, sit back, reflect, celebrate, and be merry! We at NEOPATHOLOGY CORP. hope your holiday season is filled with great company of family and friends, delicious meals, heartwarming moments, and enough laughter to last you through the year ahead.
As we settle in to reflect on the vision that birthed us earlier in the year, we look back with gratitude at all we have accomplished and are excited at what the years ahead hold for us. We want to take this opportunity to deeply thank all our supporters including collaborators, potential customers, and investors, for their trust and for the giving of themselves to the vision and mission that drives us. We are proud of what we have achieved together in 2023, and here, we are excited to share some of our highlights:

We successfully incorporated as a Delaware corporate entity in March. Soon afterwards, we were accepted and joined the Frederick Innovative Technology Center, Inc. (FITCI) business incubator, in Frederick Maryland, in April – the same month we filed our ONEPATHOLOGY trademark. We are so delighted to call Frederick in Maryland home, not only for it being strategically located, but for the innumerable community support it offers. Through FITCI in Frederick, we have enjoyed access to the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) network of resources. We applied and were accepted into the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub program in May. While doubling down on our team formation and establishing strategic partnerships, we were accepted and subsequently participated in the National Science Foundation (NSF) sponsored I-Corps (Mid-Atlantic Region Hub) program. To ensure we got it right, with respect to establishing a successful venture, we devoted much of our activities to participating and being fully involved in the customer discovery and business model development and validation processes of the I-Corps program, through the months of May to August. We had one of our major institutional collaboration agreements fully executed in September. Also in September, we commenced the FITCI EDGE Accelerator program. In October, we were accepted and commenced meeting with the FITCI Strategic Growth and Advisory Board (SGAB). We won a Maryland Business Incubator Association (MBIA), commercialization impact grant in November. And, in December we were accepted into the 2024 cohort of the TEDCO SBIR/STTR Proposal Lab.

We are very mindful that none of these would have been possible without you all. Your numerous supports are very much appreciated. Your belief in us equally motivates and drives us. Your loyalty, feedback, referrals are deeply appreciated. We look forward to continuing this amazing relationship in 2024 and beyond.
