✨ Happy New Year, 2026! ✨

Date Night with The Wrights is stepping back into the light.

2025 didn’t bring much content from us. Life was lifing, we were regrouping, and I was deep in the trenches of PhD work. But even in the quiet seasons, we kept choosing each other, carving out our moments, and strengthening our bond one date night at a time.

This year, we’re excited to share more of how we love, laugh, reconnect, and stay grounded as a team while navigating everything life throws our way. Here’s to intentional connection, joy in the small moments, and building a union that stays strong on purpose.

🔹As we close out 2024, I want to take this opportunity to thank YOU!

🔹Whether YOU attended one of our Date Night with The Wrights events, was a speaker or a vendor, catered, hosted, or DJ’ed, volunteered, told family or friends, shared it on your social media accounts, encouraged us, or prayed for and with us, we appreciate your support.

🔹YOU played an important role in strengthening relationships.

🔹What started out as our personal commitment to each other to prioritize our own marriage evolved into something we could have never imagined. We simply sensed an urge to invite other couples to join us, responded and a ministry was born.

🔹The testimonies and feedback we received warmed our hearts and ignited us even more. We are passionate about our newfound mission to create community and connection for couples.

🔹Divorce rates remain high in and outside of the church and relationship dissatisfaction is a top complaint for unmarried couples. The simple truth is that relationships take work, especially romantic ones, and most people just aren’t prepared for what they ultimately experience.

🔹We enter 2025 with excitement and full of ideas for how we plan to contribute to the success and fulfillment of couples.

Juneteenth holiday commemorates the end of slavery in the United States in 1865.

This Wednesday also marks 60 years since the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was approved by the U.S. Senate.

The occasion serves as a reminder that many of the rights afforded to Black Americans were not realized when the last slaves were freed, and that the struggle for complete freedom of all citizens is ongoing.
