We are thrilled to announce the save the date for our annual Christmas Market on Sunday, December 7th from 12:00 PM- 4:00 PM.

This event is FREE to the public and held rain or shine, we have a large covered patio space to protect from the elements as you shop. AND, you’ll be supporting about 25 local families and their small businesses!

On top of all of the shopping, we will have delicious wine by the bottle or glass, lobster rolls for purchase by Mystic Lobster Roll FBG, live holiday music by Anthony Garcia, Holiday Facepainting by Sunshine the Clown and a visit from Santa himself starting at 1:00 PM- complimentary to your children!

Our vendors include a variety of wares from clothing, jewelry, food products, bath and spa items, art and so much more! We have a few complimentary vendor booth spaces left, please email [email protected] if you’re interested in participating!

HB 3385 , Farm Winery Permit bill, is so important for our vineyards and wineries here! It protects the integrity of Texas-grown wine and gives Texas growers and wineries tools and support needed to grow.
Please help us by supporting this bill to get it through the Texas Senate.

Texas wine needs your voice. 🍷

On April 30, the Texas House passed the Farm Winery Permit bill (HB 3385) with overwhelming support — 132 to 9.

The Senate needs to act quickly before this legislative session ends.
Texas Wine Growers strongly supports the Farm Winery Permit bill because it protects the integrity of Texas-grown wine and gives Texas growers and wineries the tools they need to grow.

Here’s what the permit would do:
✅ Allow up to 5 tasting rooms
✅ Raise production caps
✅ Create a marketing fund for Texas wineries
✅ Require at least 75% Texas-grown fruit
✅ Cut red tape and reduce permit complexity

This legislation supports Texas grape growers, boosts rural economies, and strengthens our now $24.39B+ wine industry.

We are blessed and unscathed. Saturday was a long day. Crazy wind! Shortly after taking these photos, I left with the critters and stayed with amazing friends. Haley,Josh and good friend Todd picked up the important stuff for me. Home yesterday.
Vineyard looks great! 😊
Fire was about 1/2 -3/4 miles away.

Beautiful sunset over our resting winter Vineyard. Resting and getting ready for its new season which will soon be upon us
We have been resting and sorting out how life is moving forward.
Life changed for us here mid December last year. My husband, David, died unexpectedly. Grape growing and making wine was an integral part of his life.
Our plan is to continue forward as that is the best way to honor him.

This Sunday, February 9th, from 12:00-3:00 PM our incredible community will host a benefit for Hadley, daughter of our winemaker and co-founders and granddaughter of our owners, at Ab Astris Winery.

Tickets are $25 and include a glass of wine, kids are free. There will be live music, food trucks, an entire kids section of fun, an auction, Super Bowl Squares and a raffle. While glasses and bottles can be purchased, the winery will not conduct tastings or wine club pick up on Sunday.

100% of the proceeds of the day will go towards Hadley’s continued medical care for acute recurrent pancreatitis.

We are so blessed by this opportunity to rally around our girl and show her how loved she is. We would love to see you all there as the community support has been incredible and helped lift our spirits during a most difficult time.
