❄️ EARLY SNOWFALL SIGNAL — WINTER 2026–2027 ❄️

Our early pattern analysis continues to favor an active southern storm track, with the strongest above-average snowfall signal extending from portions of Texas through the Mid-South, Southeast and Carolinas—then curving northeastward toward the Philadelphia, New York City and Boston corridor.

🔸 Orange: Below average
⚪ Gray: Near average
🔹 Light blue: Slightly above average
🔵 Dark blue: Above average
🩷 Pink: Much above average

These colors represent potential snowfall compared with each location’s normal—not predicted snowfall totals. Above average does not guarantee a blockbuster winter, especially in places where average snowfall is already low.

This remains an early outlook. The exact storm tracks, temperatures and precipitation types will determine which areas ultimately receive snow, ice or rain.

Would you enjoy a snowier-than-average winter, or are you hoping this signal disappears?

Well we may not be getting a whopper of a cold front just yet , but I’ll take 68 for morning temps and 94 as a high over 112 for sure !

Texas said, “Good news! A cold front is coming.”

Translation: instead of sweating at 102°, we’ll be sweating at 94°.

Break out the porch chairs, folks. Practically sweater weather.
