It’s official. SF 2086 pertaining to Junior Firefighter program is now signed by the Governor! This will allow schools to teach Firefighter 1 to Juniors and Seniors! Thank you to all of those who have helped with this bill! Iowa Firefighters Association members and Senator Dickey. Thanks also to John and Cyndi Petersen and Libby Crimmings, the lobbyists that helped get this bill through. This will help with recruitment for local departments in the state of Iowa.
