Today, members of our department had the honor of participating in the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Metlife Stadium alongside our neighboring departments Andover Township Volunteer Fire Department and Sparta Township Fire Department.

Together, we climbed to remember and honor the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001, and all those who lost their lives that day.

This climb held an especially personal meaning for our department. We climbed in memory of Firefighter Lenny Ragaglia of Engine 54, the cousin of our own Past Chief John Breece. With every step, we carried his memory with us and honored the sacrifice made by Lenny and so many others that day.

With every step, we reflected on the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those we lost, while standing together in the spirit of brotherhood and service that continues today.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸🚒

25 years ago today, our nation changed forever.

On September 11, 2001, 343 firefighters, 23 NYPD officers, 37 Port Authority police officers, and countless civilians lost their lives while others ran toward danger to help those in need.

For the fire service, September 11th is more than a date. It is a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and brotherhood that define our profession. We remember the firefighters who never came home, the families who were left behind, and the countless first responders who continue to carry the physical and emotional scars of that day.

Over the next two days, members of our department will take part in memorial workouts and memorial services to honor the lives lost and ensure their sacrifice is never forgotten. These events give us an opportunity to come together as a fire service, remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and pay tribute to the brotherhood that was strengthened through tragedy. 🇺🇸

25 years later, we still remember.
We still honor.
We still say their names.

May we never forget the 343.

Never Forget. 🇺🇸

On Saturday September 12th, 3 members of our department will be participating in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at MetLife Stadium to honor and remember the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

This year’s climb is especially meaningful as we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11th. Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the firefighters who continue to carry the physical and emotional impact of that day.

This event is more than a climb. We are climbing in memory of those who never made it home and to support those who continue to serve.

Through our participation, we are raising money for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF), which supports the families of fallen firefighters and provides critical behavioral health and therapy services to FDNY members and firefighters across the country.

🇺🇸 Help us reach our fundraising goal! 🇺🇸

Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference. If you're able to contribute, please consider donating and sharing our fundraiser with your friends and family. Your support helps us honor the fallen and support those who continue to serve.

25 years later. We remember. We honor. We never forget. 🇺🇸🧑‍🚒

We want to give a huge thank you to Fire & Safety Services, Ltd. for working with our Vehicle Planning Committee throughout the process of ordering our new tanker!

Thank you to everyone at Amy Wunderlich Performance Horses for spending time going over everything with our members. It was a great refresher, and great getting to know some of the friendly horses in the barns! 🐴

We hope we never have to use these skills, but are thankful we have been trained in them if the time ever comes.

We know many of our neighbors are still dealing with power outages, and we're always happy to do what we can to help our community!

If you or someone you know in Fredon Township is still without power, stop by Fredon Firehouse tonight from 6:00–8:00 PM.

We'll have dinner thanks to our friends at Cesco's, Luigi's, and Fredon Deli, along with a place to charge your phones, tablets, and other devices.

A huge thank you to these local businesses for teaming up with us to help our community!

Please help us spread the word so anyone still affected knows they're welcome. Come grab a good meal, charge your devices, and spend some time with your neighbors. We hope to see you tonight! 🚒❤️

Congratulations to our firefighter Hannah on officially stepping into her role as law enforcement officer with Atlantic City this summer!

After becoming a firefighter last year, Hannah continues to dedicate herself to serving her community in a new way as a law enforcement officer — following in her dad’s footsteps and continuing a proud family tradition of service.

We couldn’t be more proud of all she has accomplished and the commitment she shows to helping others. We know she will bring the same dedication, courage, and compassion to this new chapter.

Congratulations, Hannah! Stay safe out there — we’re proud to have you as part of our firehouse family! 🚒👮🏼‍♀️
