BYE BYE ANNOUNCEMENT - I've had many people contact me this week about school pictures, so I guess a little announcement is in order. Earlier this summer I decided to dial back my studio work even more. I spoke with Eric Marr about covering existing events on my schedule & he agreed to help me out. I had hoped I could still do school pictures at the very least as so many of you have supported this event every year. I enjoy seeing the kids each year and see how much they've grown and changed. Unfortunately sometime in August my studio had some unwanted visitors that removed (ahem stole) items that did not belong to them including both of my bags of camera gear that included all of my cameras, lenses, and accessories. This is a huge amount of equipment to replace and at this time I have no intentions of replacing and having a studio. Eric will be offering school pictures and other events for your local portrait needs. Please choose local! I am in the process of cleaning out my studio and saying bye bye to this chapter of my life. THANK YOU to the many clients near and far who have supported my business over the last 18 years! I will miss you!

I've been putting off posting this update, but it's time to just get it out there and quit worrying about how I say it or what I have to say.
I'm making some changes in my professional and personal life. These changes will make it difficult to continue doing private photo sessions. For the foreseeable future I will be an EVENT ONLY studio/photographer. BHP hopes to continue hosting annual events like Halloween Costume Portraits, School Portrait Days and Christmas that have been a big part of my studio over the years.

If you are a current client and you haven't heard from me personally, you are on the list and I will be contacting you soon. I will be wrapping up any final orders in the next few weeks.
I really want to say thank you to my loyal clients over the years. I've enjoyed watching your children grow, becoming part of your family and developing friendships with so many of you. I don't know that I will ever be able to totally give up photography, but I know for now that something has to give, and so that something is private sessions. Thank you for putting your trust in me and choosing me as your photographer all these years. I am thankful for those who have supported my local business all these years. You know who you are! THANK YOU!

If you are looking for a photographer for your senior, family or little - I highly recommend Eric Marr. I recommend Eric for a couple of reasons - he's very good and he is LOCAL! I bring this up after having a conversation with someone about this very topic today. When you shop local you are supporting YOUR community too! Your local businesses are asked to donate for just about every event, occasion, organization and fundraiser - which helps out your child, club, sports team, church, etc. Please think about the little local businesses that are there for you and your family!
