I have officially retired and have closed Crestwood Property Management after 30 years. The decision was done with some reservations but at 80 years old with both hips replaced since January and a shoulder replaced a month ago, I guess mother nature is telling me that it is time. I want to thank all who have allowed me to work for them in those past years and really enjoyed my time building, repairing, opening and closing homes with so many other things for folks over the years! I am retired but not expired as yet anyway. Thank you! I will be taking the site down in a month or so.

Well, it does look like I am a creature of habit. A year ago yesterday, I posted about why I had stopped sending our Christmas cards which is the post under this one. The same reason apples but this both Jen's Friends and Wreaths Across America was what we had picked.
Everyone have a great Christmas and, hopefully, a good winter. Looks like we may finally get a storm for a White Christmas but it might be a bit to much all at once though!

A few years ago, I decided rather than sending out Christmas cards that money would do more for local charities for families who might need a hand with life. I have been thinking about where to send the money this year. I knew that our government has helped with the payments to many. After the disaster of the tornado in Kentucky last weekend and seeing the destruction in the town of Mayfield, I have arranged for the funds to go there this year. Mayfair looks like a lot of our small towns in New Hampshire of about 10,000 people. That area of our country needs all of the help that we can get to it.

Crestwood is closed for the Winter and will reopen in the Spring. Thank you for another season of allowing me to work for you.

We have been getting phone calls from people looking for snowplowing and winter type issues but we are no longer doing winter maintenance as we are closed for the winter.
