This six acre farm located in the heart of Freeland on Whidbey island is the home of Dancing Fish Vineyard wines - all made in collaboration with top winemakers across Washington state. Drop in to our tasting room and enjoy great views, plenty of parking, a bocce court, horseshoes, and friendly hospitality. The renovated farmhouse sleeps eight and is fully furnished with italian accents throughout. The historic barn with vineyard view is perfect for your wedding, group or corporate event. As the season shifts, many of us are winding down a little earlier, and our Tasting Room is too. These are our new Tasting Room hours that start this Thursday. The new season also brings a change to our Music Night schedule. Music Night is moving from Thursdays to Fridays, and it’ll stay there through the end of April. Our new Tasting Room hours and our first Friday Night Music both kick off this week, so come raise a glass with us!

Ross and I had the opportunity to venture offsite for a gorgeous dinner and experience at Passage at the Inn at Langley , the new restaurant within The Inn at Langley, that you have likely already heard of. It was obvious the minute we walked through the door that this team deeply cares about their guests and the local bounty of this island and the greater Pacific Northwest. Every course and w**e pairing come with a story and their chef and sommelier are both stars. ✨ And we’re thrilled to share that our Dancing Fish Rosé was delightfully paired with one of the dishes on their multi-course tasting menu!!🍷 The menu is continuously evolving, but we are enjoying this moment!! We have a couple other w**es there as well offered à la carte, you’ll have to go and dine to find out which ones! One of our w**es is also available in the room at the The Inn at Langley ! Saying we are honored to be on the w**e list is an understatement. We’re beyond grateful to the team there, their commitment to telling the stories of Washington and PNW w**es, w**emakers, farmers and food, and we’re already dreaming of our next visit. 🤤

📣 This Thursday 9/17, for the very first time on the Dancing Fish Barn stage, The Joel Astley Band will be performing! Joel Astley broke into the Northwest Blues scene in 2014 and quickly became a local favorite, garnering accolades as a bandleader while performing with numerous Northwest bands. His award-winning band has swept the Annual Washington Blues Society Awards multiple times, collecting 28 “Best of the Blues” Awards, and nominations for many more. His four-piece band delivers a high energy and engaging blend of catchy originals and select classic cuts. Their music draws from the traditions of Blues, Swing, Funk, Soul, Roots Rock, Jazz, Americana, and more.

Join us for excellent live music, w**e and appetizers! By reservation only and includes a shared appetizer board served to your table.

The Whidbey Women + Art show was a huge success all around! Biggest turnout than ever before. Thank you to the Soroptimist women for your organizing, planning and gracious hosting! The artists brought their gorgeous work and we were in awe of the vibrant energy and beauty that filled this space. Thanks to all who joined us this Labor Day weekend. Summer weekends like this one remind us how grateful we are to call Whidbey home.

The Taco Cart is back! 🌮🍷Join us on Labor Day for dinner by Taquería Puebla, w**e, and live music by Stephen Barbour! Full menu to come soon, but Al Pastor tacos will indeed be on the menu (a crowd favorite) alongside other delicious options. Stephen Barbour hails from Scotland, and has been bringing his Americana and classic rock favorites to audiences from NY to the San Francisco Bay Area to Whidbey Island for over 25 years.

*Make reservations* on our website for Monday Bites on September 7th, 5-7 pm. Monday Bites is family friendly and reservations are highly recommended to ensure your seat and dinner (walk-ins welcome after those with reservations are served, while supplies last).
