Jimmy's Towing Pros is a towing service company in Freeport, FL that serves Walton County and the surrounding areas. Jimmy's Towing is also an approved wrecker service provider for the Florida Highway Patrol and Walton County Sheriff's Department. We are currently looking for a Towing Manager to be responsible for the following activities:
- Answer customer/vehicle owner, insurance, and emergency service calls and emails.
-Use Towing Management System (Towbook) to give quotes, enter tickets, receive payments, dispatch calls, document notes including lien statuses, owner and insurance calls, other relative information.
- Open and Close office and ensure property and vehicles are secure.
-Regulate access to vehicles and property according to company policies and state and local laws.
-Collect and record payments, and update a general ledger.
-Ensure tow trucks and equipment are properly maintained and consumables such as crash wrap and oil dry are readily available.
-General housekeeping for towing facilities.
The ideal candidate would have the following experience:
-2+ years of towing coordinator, dispatcher, or manager.
-2+ years of management experience preferred.
-Some bookkeeping experience.
-High School Graduate with some college
This position is expected to work alone and function independently. Training is provided, but backup assistance is not convenient. Candidates must be dependable and those who typically call in more than twice per year need not apply. Holiday pay and some benefits are provided to qualified candidates.
