Libby Davis’s mobile raw bar, Lady Shuckers, was born from her desire to shuck oysters—and change the industry paradigm.

Today we launch the website! Go take a peek. Much more to come, but it’s a start during the winter “lull”. We’d much rather be on the water, but finding grants, building websites, etc. is all important business stuff too, we suppose.

Hi there! You may know one of us, both of us, or neither of us.

We are Anna and Dana - when we were inseparable in kindergarten we called ourselves “Dananna” and now we are Sister Island Oysters.

We established Sister Island Oysters this past summer and are thrilled to be a part of the small-scale aquaculture community here in Maine. We have been so overwhelmed by the support we’ve received so far. We wouldn’t be here without it!

We met Amanda when we first started thinking about farming oysters. Since then, Amanda has offered us so much guidance and encouragement. We feel very lucky to have her as a new friend and mentor.
