We want to share an important reminder with our customers. Recently, local residents have been targeted by scammers who convinced them to send large amounts of cash through the mail.

When we ask the value of the contents of a package, we aren't trying to pry. We ask because it can help protect you and your shipment. If something about a shipment raises a concern, we'd much rather ask an extra question than see one of our customers lose thousands of dollars.

Scammers can be extremely convincing, and they often create a sense of urgency so you don't have time to stop and think or talk with someone you trust.

If anyone tells you to mail cash, gift cards, or other valuables — STOP before you ship. Talk to a family member, friend, or law enforcement first.
