streets, following directions to a specific place and ability to book reservations for an event.
Assisted with clothing evaluations with occupational therapy to ensure proper footwear, clothing, etc to ensure safety and prevent falls at home. In addition to these responsibilities, I assisted with home re entry exercises and strength training classes weekly, navigating the home setting in adaptive apartment on site to evaluate cooking and safety skills, use of bathroom and shower, getting in and out of bed, on and off the couch, etc. to ensure safety and independence upon return home. community.
I hosted and facilitated support groups for Parkinson's and stroke, coordinated guest speakers and introduced the most up to date resources available for individuals recovering from Parkinson’s and stroke.
In addition to working in rehab, I have spent 6 years in senior living as a Community
Engagement Director working directly with seniors day to day providing activities and traveling to meet those bucket list wishes including but not limited to Las Vegas, New Orleans, St. Augustine, Biloxi and Ocean City to name a few.
This knowledge and experience I have had the opportunity to gain over the years is what made me start this company. I want to help seniors maintain their dignity and independence as they age while providing peace of mind for family.
