Position: Towing Dispatcher
Employment Type: [Full-Time/Part-Time]

We are looking for a reliable, organized, independent, and hardworking Towing Dispatcher to join our team.
📞 Main Responsibilities
• Answer incoming phone calls from customers and provide professional, friendly service.
• Contact customers to verify pickup and drop-off locations.
• Ask the appropriate questions to determine what is wrong with the vehicle and gather all necessary information for the driver.
• Communicate clearly with customers and drivers with a wide variety of personalities and communication styles.
• Dispatch and communicate with drivers regarding assigned calls and job details.
• Enter and maintain schedules in our dispatch/app system.
• Multitask and manage multiple phone calls, drivers, customers, and jobs at the same time.
• File miscellaneous paperwork and scan documents.
• Keep dispatching information organized and up to date.
🛻 KNOW YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a towing company, and the office reflects the business.
Our office is in the middle of active towing environment. Drivers regularly come in from the road and may be covered in dirt, grease, oil, mud, and other typical automotive messes. The office can become dirty throughout the day simply due to the nature of the work.
You will also be working primarily with male tow truck drivers, and the atmosphere can be casual, loud, rough-around-the-edges, and occasionally immature. This is not a traditional quiet office environment.
If you are looking for a spotless, quiet, corporate-style office, this probably isn't the position for you.
⭐ What We Are Looking For
The right person must be:
• Independent and self-motivated.
• Be comfortable working around dirt, grease, and oil.
• Alright with communicating with a predominantly male group of drivers who may have very different backgrounds.
• Be able to handle occasional workplace chaos while still maintaining focus and professionalism.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and confident on the phone.
• Know how to stand their ground and communicate clearly without becoming easily overwhelmed.
• Patient when dealing with difficult or frustrated customers.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow through.
• Comfortable using computers, phones, apps, and basic office equipment.
• Dependable and punctual.
We need someone we can trust to do their job without being babysat.
Towing or dispatch experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person who has the work ethic, communication skills, reliability, maturity, and ability to learn.
