This stairwell was constructed back in the 1920’s to allow Kresge’s cashiers to gain access to the ‘Girls Lounge’ and the Accounting department on the second floor. We have cleaned them up and put a fresh coat of paint on the walls but elected to keep the worn steps and railing in place.
Once the second floor offices are open, this stairwell will allow easy access to The Milady Coffeehouse.

A new entrance is coming soon.

New meets Old.

A new 6th Street door was installed today. This door will allow direct access to the second floor studios and offices.

A custom window will be installed above the door canopy and a Next Level sign will be illuminated above the door.

A little glass work is also needed to finish off this entrance.
