Join us for a ribbon cutting this Thursday at 11:00 AM celebrating the grand opening of the new Sandusky County EMS Headquarters and Life Squad 18 Station. ✂

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, the public is invited to join the Sandusky County EMS for an open house until 6pm.
Bring the kids for a fun-filled Teddy Bear Clinic, where they’ll receive their own teddy bear to treat alongside EMS personnel.
Plus, food trucks will be on-site, so you can grab a bite and enjoy the festivities!

✨ Chamber Member Spotlight: YOUnique Wellness Center ✨

This week's Member Spotlight was a special hands-on experience for the Chamber team! We had the opportunity to visit YOUnique Wellness Center in Bellevue for a tour of the facility and a relaxing sound bath, giving us a firsthand experience of the welcoming environment and wellness services they offer.

For the past four years, YOUnique Wellness Center has been helping individuals take an active role in their health and well-being. Owned by David Vickery and John Doyle, the center offers a variety of holistic therapies, classes, and workshops, including sound baths, Reiki, yoga, Pilates, Qigong, PEMF therapy, halotherapy, and more.

At the heart of YOUnique Wellness Center is a simple mission: Your health first. The “YOU” in YOUnique represents the belief that each person is at the center of their own wellness journey. Their goal is to create a peaceful, welcoming environment where clients can feel calm, comfortable, and supported.

The center is especially proud of being recognized with the City of Bellevue’s 2025 Community Enhancement Award and the 2026 Rotary Club Recognition of Outstanding Dedication and Service Award, honors that reflect their dedication to making a positive impact in the community.

The 174th Sandusky County Fair is officially underway!

We helped kick off Fair week this morning with a ribbon cutting as Bob Zilles did the honors and cut the ribbon on another year of this longtime Sandusky County tradition. The Fair’s history dates all the way back to 1852!

While you’re at the Fair this week, our Ag Committee has a challenge for you — the Fair Scavenger Hunt is back!

Pick up a scavenger hunt card at either Fair entrance, find the answers throughout the barns and exhibits, and return your completed card to the Wagner Seed LLC/Pioneer Seed Pavilion for a chance to win a prize each day.

Thank you to our Chamber Board and Ag Committee members who joined us this morning, and to everyone who works hard to make the Sandusky County Fair happen each year.

A few members of the Chamber Board started their morning with the YMCA of Sandusky County at its Community Leader Breakfast Forum.

The gathering brought together leaders from across Sandusky County for conversation about partnerships, collaboration and opportunities to strengthen our community for the future.

We appreciate the YMCA for bringing local leaders together and creating space for these important conversations. And a special thank you to Ole Zim's Wagon Shed, LLC for the delicious breakfast!
