At its Canonsburg, Pennsylvania campus, Ansys/Synopsys invested in a 333 kW rooftop system to reduce long-term operating costs while advancing ESG and carbon reduction goals.

Installed by Pennsylvania Solar Energy Co Inc and powered by Enphase IQ8P-3P Microinverter technology, the system is expected to generate 425,867 kWh annually and deliver more than $3 million in estimated lifetime savings.

For installer Blake Reedy, the decision came down to long-term value:

Enphase has begun shipments of IQ Gateway Fusion in India, bringing solar backup to homes during daytime power cuts, even without a home battery.

Designed to work with IQ8 Microinverters, IQ Gateway Fusion keeps essential loads running on solar when the grid goes down. It can also be paired with a home UPS to use solar for charging during the day, helping extend backup runtime and recharge the UPS the next morning if an outage continues overnight.

IQ Gateway Fusion combines the IQ Gateway, IQ Relay, and a built-in power socket in a single compact unit. Homeowners can use it to power home UPS systems, refrigerators, electric scooters, and other essential loads, while installers can commission the system in minutes through the Enphase Installer App.

For one of America’s most treasured landscapes, energy is part of the mission.

At Zion National Park, Prometheus Solar installed a 170 kW rooftop and ground-mount system powered by Enphase IQ9N-3P Commercial Microinverters — a 480 VAC solution designed to deliver the performance and reliability needed for commercial projects.

The system is expected to generate 295,000 kWh annually, offset 50% of the park’s building energy load, and deliver more than $41K in annual savings.

The Enphase IQ Meter Collar is now approved by 80 utilities that collectively serve more than 38 million customers across the U.S. and Canada.

These approvals expand access to whole-home backup while simplifying deployment of the 4th-generation Enphase Energy System. The Enphase IQ Meter Collar enables less equipment on the wall, streamlined commissioning, and fewer installation steps.

Now approved by all three major investor-owned electric utilities in California and the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), this expands access to whole-home backup across the state. Hawaiian Electric has also approved initial pilot installations, with full approval expected in the coming months.
