We were a little off in Qualifying. Made some changes for the heat race and finally found a little speed. Made more changes for the feature and the car felt pretty good. We still are alittle off the pace but are making progress. Baby steps. We are off this week so we will try again in a couple weeks.

Went on in group 1 in Qualifying and the track wasn't ready for cars but this is a weekly problem so no need to complain. We struggled to find speed all night long and I didn't do my job going on the track where I should have. We tried a few things out that didn't work and we will try some things out this Friday as we are the support class for the world of outlaws.

It was a long week getting everything back together after the wreck last week. Frame is alittle bent but seems not to have affected the handling. Our class is off the next two weeks so we will be preparing another car to try our hand at the 360 class at Knoxville. Stay tuned.

A familiar face in the Knoxville Raceway Pro Sprint ranks, Mike Mayberry continues to prove that consistency and determination win championships. Mayberry captured Track Championships in both 2022 and 2024 while building a reputation as one of the division’s toughest competitors.

Overall just a rough night. We qualified in the first flight which the track was still greasy. Made some changes for the heat race and car seemed better. Made some more changes for the feature. On the initial start of the race we passed two car right away and thought we might have a good night but unfortunately that start was called back and on the next start we got caught up in someone else's wreck with nowhere to go. Sucks but that's racing sometimes. We will fix the car this week and try again Saturday.

Opening night definitely had some highs and lows. Heat Race had a plug wire come off and ran the race on 7 cylinders. Ran most of the feature in 5th place but with a late caution spun the tires on the restart and let a car get by, then on the last lap had to slow down due not being able to see due to my glasses fogging up which allowed two over cars to get around me. I'll be ordering contacts tomorrow. Want to say a huge thank you to my Dad, Mark Simms, Frank Tharp, and Chris Playle for their help in the pits fixing a fuel leak before the feature. We will be back at Knoxville next week and try again.

Last race of the season at Knoxville for the year. We changed a few things on the setup since we aren't worried about points. Car felt pretty good all night long but definitely have our work cut out for us this winter to find some speed. A huge thank you to my Dad, Mark Simms, Lynsey Mayberry, Chris Playle, and Frank Tharp for all there help this year. Also want to Thank all my sponsors.
