📣 Medicare Telehealth Billing Changes Are Coming for RHCs!

Beginning October 1, 2026, CMS will replace G2025 billing for Medicare distant-site telehealth services. RHCs will instead bill the specific HCPCS code for the service provided and use Modifier 93 (audio-only) or Modifier 95 (audio-visual).

According to NARHC, this change will improve telehealth claims data, better capture preventive services provided remotely, and support participation in value-based care programs.

She holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration and brings extensive expertise in cost reporting, audits, reimbursement optimization and regulatory strategy.

A frequent speaker at state and national conferences, Julie works closely with State Offices of Rural Health through SORH partnerships. Her practical approach and deep industry knowledge continue to help clinics navigate complex regulations and operate with confidence.

This Memorial Day, HSA honors and remembers the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice helped protect the communities we call home and the freedoms we share every day. As we spend time with family, friends, and our rural communities this weekend, we pause in gratitude for those who served and never returned home.
