Keng Xiong- Life Insurance Broker Empower everyone with the knowledge and understanding to properly plan for retirement. Hello, and welcome to my page.

I am deeply humbled to share a glimpse of my journey with you. Born and raised in Fresno, California, I am a proud first-generation Hmong American. My roots trace back to the brave souls who emerged from the trials of the secret war in Laos, and it is their courage that continues to inspire me every day. Their sacrifices paved the way for my chance at freedom in America, a gift for which I am forever grateful. From a young age, I aspired to follow in the footsteps of my grandparents, who served in the military, driven by a deep-seated desire to protect those who couldn't defend themselves. I envisioned a path that would grant others the same opportunities I've been blessed with. In 2011, just three days after graduating high school, I raised my right hand and solemnly swore to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all adversaries, foreign and domestic. That pivotal moment marked the beginning of a six-year journey in the United States Marine Corps, during which I left my hometown and state for the first time. Upon my return to Fresno, I transitioned to the California Army National Guard, where I've dedicated a total of thirteen years in service. Currently, I am honored to serve as a Federal employee, specializing as a helicopter mechanic for the Department of the Army. In addition to my military service, I embarked on a new chapter in the financial service industry. This decision was driven by a personal quest for financial literacy, recognizing my own need to understand the intricate world of money. As I delved deeper, the significance of life insurance in financial planning and portfolio management became abundantly clear. This newfound knowledge ignited a passion within me, aligning seamlessly with my life's purpose — to serve and empower others. Now, I stand devoted to educating and empowering those around me about the vital role of life insurance, as well as the broader financial landscape. It is a calling that resonates deeply with me, as it embodies the essence of what I've committed my life to: serving people. Thank you for joining me on this extraordinary journey. Together, let us continue to inspire and uplift one another in pursuit of our shared goals and aspirations.

🛡️ What If Your Life Insurance Could Do More Than Just Pay Out When You Die?

Most people buy life insurance, check the death benefit, and never look much further.

But your policy may have additional benefits you're overlooking!

They're called riders—features that can customize your coverage and provide additional protection.

Here are a few examples:

🏥 Living Benefits – May provide early access to your death benefit for qualifying illnesses.

💰 Waiver of Premium – May waive premiums if you become disabled and meet certain conditions.

👶 Children's Term Rider – Provides additional coverage for eligible children.

🔒 Guaranteed Insurability – May allow you to purchase more coverage later without new medical underwriting.

⚠️ Accidental Death Benefit – Provides an additional benefit for qualifying accidental deaths.

❤️ Long-Term Care Rider – May help with qualifying long-term care expenses.

💡 Some riders are included, while others cost extra. Availability and benefits vary by policy.

Life insurance isn't just about how much coverage you have. It's about understanding what your policy can actually do.

📩 Not sure what riders your policy includes? Let's review it!

🏠 Protect the Mortgage—or Protect the Family?

Your home may be one of your family's biggest financial responsibilities. But not all protection works the same way.

Mortgage insurance (such as PMI) is primarily designed to protect the lender if the borrower defaults.

Individual Term Life Insurance is designed to protect the people you choose.

If you pass away while your policy is in force, the death benefit generally goes to your beneficiary—not the bank. Your family can decide how to use it:

🏠 Pay off or continue the mortgage
💵 Replace lost income
💡 Cover household expenses
💳 Pay other debts
🎓 Protect future goals

And depending on the policy, Living Benefits may provide access to a portion of the death benefit during your lifetime following a qualifying illness.

Mortgage insurance protects the lender.
Life insurance protects your family.

❤️ Don't just protect the mortgage. Protect the people who call it home.

📩 Homeowner? Let's review whether your coverage matches what your family would actually need.

Benefits, eligibility, and policy provisions vary by product and carrier.

🏠 Protecting Your Home Is About More Than Paying the Mortgage.

We insure the house itself—but what protects the income that pays for it?

An illness, injury, or unexpected loss of income can change a family's finances quickly. But the mortgage, groceries, utilities, and everyday bills don't stop.

That's why life insurance can be about more than what happens after you die.

Depending on the policy, Living Benefits may provide access to a portion of the death benefit after a qualifying critical, chronic, or terminal illness—helping with things like:
🏠 Mortgage and household expenses
🏥 Medical-related costs
💵 Lost income or time away from work

Certain permanent policies may also build cash value over time, providing additional financial flexibility.

❤️ The goal isn't just protecting your house. It's protecting your family's ability to keep calling it home.

👶 Why Would a Child Need Life Insurance?
It’s a fair question.

Most parents aren't buying life insurance for their child to replace income. They're thinking about their child's future.
With certain permanent policies, starting young may provide:

🔒 Future Insurability — Securing coverage while they're young and healthy can help protect their future options.
💰 Cash Value — The policy can build value over time that may be accessed later for opportunities, emergencies, or other needs.
❤️ Long-Term Protection — Coverage can potentially continue into adulthood as long as policy requirements are met.
🔄 Future Ownership — When they're older, ownership can be transferred to them.
Life insurance for a child isn't about expecting the worst.

It's about giving them protection and options for whatever their future brings.

❤️ Your Family Doesn't Need a Perfect Financial Plan.

They need a plan that still works when life doesn't go according to plan.

You can save, invest, and plan for retirement—but if your family depends on your income, ask yourself:

What happens if my paycheck suddenly stops?

Life insurance can help your family:

🏠 Keep the home
💡 Pay the bills
🛒 Maintain everyday life
💳 Handle financial obligations
🎓 Keep future goals moving forward

Life insurance isn't about predicting what will happen.

It's about making sure the people you love have options if it does.

You don't need the biggest or most complicated policy—just coverage that fits your family, responsibilities, and budget.

📩 Not sure if your current coverage is enough? Let's review it.

💰 You Have a Financial Plan… But Is Protection Part of It?

We save.
We invest.
We plan for retirement.
We pay down debt.

But there's one question we don't always think about:
What happens to that financial plan if the person funding it is no longer here?

Millions of Americans still have a life insurance coverage gap—either they don't have coverage or don't have enough.

Life insurance can help protect:
🏠 Your home and household expenses
💳 Debts and financial obligations
💵 The income your family depends on
🎓 Your children's future
❤️ The financial plan you've worked hard to build

Because life insurance isn't the entire financial plan.
It's protection for the plan.
Whether it's term, permanent, or a combination of both, the goal is to find coverage that fits your needs, goals, and budget.

📩 If you haven't reviewed your life insurance alongside the rest of your finances lately, let's make it part of the conversation.

💰 Infinite Banking — Part 3: Is It Right for Everyone?

No—and that's important to understand.

Infinite Banking isn't a shortcut to wealth, and it isn't for everyone.

It may make sense for someone who:
✅ Has consistent cash flow
✅ Can comfortably fund the policy long-term
✅ Values liquidity and cash value
✅ Can responsibly manage policy loans
✅ Has a long-term mindset

It may NOT make sense if you're struggling with expenses, carrying high-interest debt, looking for quick returns, or can't consistently fund the policy.

The strategy should fit the person—not the other way around.

Sometimes term makes sense. Sometimes permanent does. Sometimes a combination of both.

The goal isn't to sell a strategy.

It's to find what actually fits YOU.

📩 Curious whether IBC makes sense for your situation? Let's look at the options first.

💰 Infinite Banking — Part 2: How Do Policy Loans Work?

One common misconception about Infinite Banking is: “I'm borrowing my own money.”

Not exactly.

With a properly structured whole life policy, your cash value can serve as collateral for a loan from the insurance company.

💰 Your policy builds cash value
🏦 You borrow against that value
📈 The policy continues operating according to its terms
💵 The loan charges interest
🔄 Repayment has flexibility, subject to policy terms

This can give you access to liquidity without necessarily withdrawing the cash value itself.
But remember: policy loans aren't free money.

Outstanding loans and interest can reduce cash value and the death benefit, and poorly managed loans can create problems if the policy lapses.

IBC isn't about borrowing endlessly. It's about strategically using and managing your policy's cash value.

📩 Part 3: Who Infinite Banking may—and may NOT—be right for.

💰 What Is Infinite Banking?

You've probably heard the phrase “become your own bank.” But what does that actually mean?

The Infinite Banking Concept (IBC) uses a properly designed participating whole life policy to build cash value that can be accessed through policy loans.

The basic idea:
💰 Build cash value over time
🏦 Borrow against it when needed
🔄 Repay the loan according to the policy terms
❤️ Maintain life insurance protection

But it's not free money, and you're not literally becoming a bank.

Policy loans charge interest, and outstanding loans can reduce cash value and the death benefit. IBC also isn't for everyone—it requires proper design, cash flow, discipline, and a long-term mindset.

The goal isn't to replace your bank or investments.

It's another financial tool you can own and control.

📩 Part 2: How policy loans actually work.

❤️ No Paycheck Doesn't Mean No Financial Value.

One common misconception about life insurance is that only the income earner needs coverage.

But a stay-at-home spouse may provide:
👶 Childcare
🍳 Meals
🧺 Cleaning & laundry
🚗 Transportation
📅 Scheduling
🏠 Household management

There may not be a paycheck attached to that work, but replacing it could cost a family real money.
If something happened, the surviving spouse may suddenly need childcare, household help, or even have to reduce their own work hours.
That's why life insurance isn't always just about replacing income.

Sometimes it's about protecting the value someone provides to the family every single day.
Different role. Different paycheck. Same importance. ❤️

📩 If your household only has coverage on the primary income earner, it may be worth reviewing whether both spouses are properly protected.
