DNA evidence is strong proof needed to prove a case. Central California Investigations Chief Investigator Bryan Pinto was assigned a cold case murder and a string if sexual assaults where DNA was used to identify our client. This case resolved only the best way it could with the client pleading to a sentence. The case was covered by ABC ‘s 20/20 this past Friday. Here is a link to the fascinating episode.

This is a case were the Client who was a CDCR Inmate was charged with assaulting an Officer at Corcoran State Prison. The Client alleged he was a Victim of excessive force and did not assault of the Officer. A Pitchess Motion was filed in this case to get records of misconduct on the Officer that were related to excessive force. The Attorney General provided over 140 names of people that had filed complaints or witnessed alleged misconduct involving this officer. I Investigator Bryan Pinto conducted over 100 interviews over the past 6 months. On Tuesday, a summary for he investigation as well as copies of reports were provided to the District Attorney. The case was dismissed in Court with he DA crediting Investigator Pinto's investigation. The Client who recently was resentenced under California Law for his commitment offense is now home! Great work in showing the misconduct by the peace officer and the innocence of the accused!

Another great result. A defense investigation into our Client's case who was charged with assaulting a Correctional Officer showed misconduct by the Officers involved. As a result of the investigation and great lawyering by Attorney Melina Benninghoff, another case was dismissed!

It's been a few weeks, here is a huge one. After the defense investigation and review of the case by Investigator Bryan Pinto, Attorney Richard Beshwate fought hard and did an excellent job at the Preliminary Hearing and the judge dismissed the case. Our client was facing a life term for murder, he is now home because of the fact of the matter, he did not do what he was accused of.

This one was interesting, the "Alleged Victim" verbally assaulted me when I attempted to interview her and serve her with a Subpoena. Then at the Preliminary Hearing, she verbally assaulted Attorney Mark King. The case was dismissed. Allegations proved false.
