Subject: Urgent Appeal for Missing Autistic Teenager, Mckenzie Ellis
FRESNO, CA, June 30, 2023 — The family of Mckenzie Ellis, a 14-year-old girl diagnosed with autism, is desperately appealing to the public for assistance in locating her after she went missing from her home near Kings Canyon and Fowler in Fresno, California on June 29, 2023.
Mckenzie, who also goes by "Kenzie" is approximately 5'5", has light brown hair and blue eyes, and weighs 103 lbs. She is known to be friendly but may become easily disoriented or scared, especially in unfamiliar environments.
"Mckenzie's safety is our utmost concern right now," says her mother, Deborah Ellis. "We're asking anyone who might have seen her, or knows anything about her whereabouts, to please come forward and help us."
The Fresno County Sheriff's Department has opened a case, reference number 23-7461, and is actively searching for Mackenzie. However, the authorities are also urging members of the public to be on the lookout for Mckenzie, particularly in the areas near Kings Canyon and Fowler.
