We understand that Allah’s knowledge is all-encompassing, and this is true. However, how does this reality show up in my life? Allah Ta’ala gives us a beautiful parable describing His knowledge is even aware of the secrets of our hearts. This then establishes that He alone is who we ask from and turn to in times of need. It also create a wonderful place for us to lay our worries down.

What is a home? Is it a place where you just spend a few hours of your day to regather your strength before the next day of work or classes? Is it a place that we change every few years of our lives when the next opportunity comes around? Or is home something more everlasting than that?

Allah and His Messenger describe our final home as something that is a resting place that will be perfect beyond imagination. A place where there will be no sadness, despair, or discomfort. Where your happiness will never end and your stress will never resurface. And above all else, our religion sees this place as a home that is truly forever.

‼️Join us for our new Tuesday night series, Homeward. A weekly circle for young professionals to reflect, appreciate, and learn about the descriptions of Paradise and how to achieve it.

We aim to create an environment that reflects a Prophetic community while taking care of the modern day needs of our attendees, and because of that we want to make sure that we are serving our community in the most organized way possible. In the next parable we will discuss the transient and fleeting nature of this world. Allah Ta’ala gives us the example of the chaff that is scattered around. It was once full of life, lush, and green. The reality of life is that it is fleeting. We often say this in words but let’s take a moment to reflect on how our actions can show this also.
