The systems that worked for us as a family of two no longer worked when we became a family of three.

Having a baby, starting a new job, moving, downsizing, or becoming an empty nester can completely change how your home needs to function. Life changes, and our organizing systems should change with it.

One-handed systems are a game changer, especially for ADHD brains.

If it takes two hands, multiple steps, or extra effort, there’s a good chance it won’t become a lasting habit. The easier you make a task, the more likely you’ll actually do it.

Think:
• Open bins instead of lids
• Hooks instead of hangers
• Drop zones instead of “put away later”
• Pull-out drawers instead of deep cabinets

Organization isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating systems that work with your brain, not against it.
