Even if your brand looks professional, it can still make your work seem less significant than it really is.

I notice this often with founders, experts, coaches, consultants, and business owners who have spent years building their knowledge, experience, and results.

The value exists, there is real depth, too. The problem is, people aren’t seeing it. Having a polished website doesn’t automatically show your expertise, a good-looking brand doesn’t always build trust, and posting more content doesn’t always make you seem more authoritative.

Sometimes, visibility isn’t the real issue.

The real problem might be that your brand is presenting your value at the wrong level.

When this happens, people start comparing you to the wrong alternatives.

But that is what a lot of founders end up doing.

They add more details. They post more content. They keep refining the explanation, hoping eventually the market will get it.

After years of working with businesses, I started seeing the same pattern over and over again.
The issue was not always effort.

Sometimes the product was strong. The expertise was real. The founder was showing up. The business had value.

But the market did not have the right frame to perceive that value clearly.

That is why more explaining does not always help.

In fact, it can make things feel even more confusing.

Everyone thinks they have a visibility problem. Most of the time, that’s not where the real issue is.

They’re posting, driving traffic, updating the website, running ads, trying to get more followers, and wondering why the response still feels flat.

But more attention does not automatically create trust.

When I look under the hood, the issue usually isn’t that nobody is seeing the business. It’s that the people who do see it are not immediately understanding the value, the difference, the reason to trust, or the reason to buy.

That is a perception problem.

And visibility ain’t gonna fix what’s being misunderstood.

More traffic can send more people into a message that still does not land. More followers can grow the audience without making the brand more trusted.
More views can create attention without creating action.

So the better question is not: “How do I get more people to see this?”

The better question is: “What happens once they do?”

Because the businesses that grow are not always the ones making the most noise. They are the ones people can understand, trust, remember, and choose.

While at Deloitte I became Doblin trained in innovation. Aka scaling businesses

For years I knew I was sitting on a goldmind of a skill and had built out assessments etc. But the problem was I didn’t know how to explain it.

The best I could come up with was how businesses position themselves to scale and become Fortune 50.

In my training that’s what we were presented with. Essentially experts that studied all the Fortune 50 brands that existed, created an algorithm for success.

So I did my research on what I could legally offer and what I can’t share.

I also wanted to offer it to small businesses and startups vs the big companies.

And while I am fully aware that large organizations pay up to $1.5 million for what I am launching and it’s going to be a challenge to explain the value at an affordable price point.

I’m going for it. I’ve wanted to do this for 13 years and I’m confident I can deliver the highest level of service.

The next step may be finding the real constraint.

I had the experience, results, and pattern recognition.

I could see things in businesses that other people were missing.

But the way my work was positioned did not fully communicate the depth of what I was actually doing.

So people placed me in categories that were too small.

Most businesses are not struggling because they lack effort.

They are building websites, posting content, launching offers, improving products, testing ads, creating emails, and trying to grow.

But effort does not automatically create trust, and visibility does not automatically create understanding.

As a founder you can have real expertise and still be placed in the wrong category.

Your product can solve a real problem and even be the best in the world, but still fail to create enough certainty for the buyer to act.

A brand can look polished and still leave people unsure why it matters.

Your store can get traffic and still not have the revenue system needed to turn that attention into buyers, repeat customers, and long-term value.

That is the gap I pay attention to.

The space between what is true about the value and what the market is actually able to see, trust, and respond to.

That is why my work begins with diagnosis.

Jordan you were a good friend, both of us were fighting for our lives. Both of us looking death in the face. I recovered but it was your time to be with Jesus. I’m so glad you built your community. I like to think I was part of that telling you to do it. You were a man of God and never let me once make a bad decision. You were a brother I could depend on in so many ways. I know when you’re dying it’s hard to talk to people. I know what that’s like. Watching your last days were hard for me. I guess it’s my turn now huh? To built it. I will make you proud and not give up. Thank you for being such a good friend and for holding me to a Godly life.
