Management training has its place. But a class can only go so far.
It doesn’t help much on Tuesday morning when a manager is dealing with an employee who is repeatedly late, avoiding a difficult conversation, or asking to terminate someone after months of undocumented problems.
That’s why I created The Manager’s Coach.
This isn’t a one-time training program. Managers receive ongoing, individual coaching based on the real situations happening within their teams. We help them prepare for difficult conversations, address performance concerns, document appropriately, set clear expectations and follow through.
Each manager has a Success Plan, ongoing accountability and someone experienced to turn to as they build confidence and good judgment. Business owners also receive regular updates, so they know where progress is being made and where additional attention may be needed.
Training teaches managers what to do. The Manager’s Coach puts the lesson into practice until effective management becomes a habit.
